I'm a bit new here and recently bought a used 2012 Husaberg FE 450. I've taken it out on a couple of rides and noticed a slight rattling or ticking sound from the engine when it's idling or under light load. It's not super loud, but it has me wondering if something's off or if this is just typical for these bikes.
The previous owner said it's been maintained regularly, and the oil level looks fine. Performance-wise, the bike runs strong, starts well, and pulls hard. I've heard people say some engine noise is normal on Husabergs, especially with the valve train, but I want to be sure I'm not ignoring a real issue.
Anyone here with the same model or similar experience? Could it be a cam chain tensioner or valve clearance thing? Appreciate any input or things I should check before taking it to a mechanic.
