Maybe you are referring to a sound competitioin? I have perhaps better chances there!

I had to install dB-killers, as they complained at the track, but that's a cheap price to pay when the bike was running really good!
I had no time to make a fancy video, but here is an onboard video of todays shake down test! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Thanks, Flo! The bike was geared for 220km/h on this max 150 km/h track, so I just barely could pass some hairpins in 1st gear! I believe that is why the steps seem so long. When gearing is right for the track, the gearbox works beautifully! I'm using the enduro 1st gear, the mx 6th gear and a Folan 5th gear which makes 4-5-6 nice and tight. On this track I think I never revved over 7000rpm and never used the 6th gear. As I was only going to circulate, I didn't pay any attention to the gearing. The races the coming weekend is a different thing!
The current crankshaft is the 80mm stroke version with a larger 35mm dia pin. That, together with taller conrod, I hope will prolong the main bearings life length. I have stopped using the roller bearings, because when they seize, the secondary damages are expensive. I use normal ball bearings (C4) which tolerate the banana-shape of the crank when the tacho-needle touches 9k./Dr_C -

very nice to hear the ball bearing succeeds in this highly tuned engine! both of my old husas got the 6206 bearing on the left. it would be really nice of you if you could post some new information about the life length of your crank shaft conversion (larger pin, taller conrod, 6206) when available.
if it lasts for 20-30h a normal engine with 30hp less (without tuning) may last a lot longer than 100h .
why you use the very short 1st gear of the enduro models? i though for normal racetracks a longer first gear has advantages (not just use it for starting).
